The best time to undertake the Rupin Pass Trek is from May to June and September to October. During these months, the weather is favorable, and the trails are clear, offering the best trekking conditions.
Drive from Dehradun to Dhaula (1,580 meters) – Approximately 200 km, 8-hour drive.
Trek from Dhaula to Sewa (2,000 meters) – 14 km, around 7 hours.
Sewa to Jhaka (2,300 meters) – 9 km, approximately 5 hours.
Jhaka to Burans Kandi (3,080 meters) – 7 km, 5 to 6 hours.
Burans Kandi to Lower Waterfall Camp (3,450 meters) – 6 km, 3 to 4 hours.
Lower Waterfall Camp to Rupin Pass Basecamp (4,350 meters) – 6 km, 4 to 5 hours.
Basecamp to Rupin Pass (4,690 meters) to Ronti Gad (3,990 meters) – 9 km, 7 to 8 hours.
Ronti Gad to Sangla (2,650 meters) – 12 km, 5 to 6 hours; followed by departure.
